Camden Fringe is about to begin and we’ve put together together a list of dance shows to see.
Taking place from 3 – 30 August 2026, Camden Fringe is a performing arts festival, established in 2006, which takes place in Camden, London. This year, the festival celebrates its 20th anniversary with over 400 shows happening across the month.

BETWEEN >1 delves deep into a woman’s darkest fears and desires, laying bare the brutal paradox of “love.” When intimacy spirals into a dangerous cycle, what does genuine affection actually look like? Where Flowers Breathe by Harper Wang
Rooted in the elegance of traditional dance and shaped through a contemporary choreographic language, Where Flowers Breathe is an intimate performance about softness, patience and the quiet beauty of simply being present. It is an invitation to slow down for a while, and perhaps to leave the theatre feeling a little lighter than when you arrived. Running from 20 August, book here.
The Bride by Yu Ai
The Bride follows Er’er as she journeys to Silkworm Island after the death of her mother. As she takes part in the island’s rituals, she discovers that her greatest constraint lies not in her mother’s legacy, but in her own dependence on the guidance of others. Blending physical theatre, dance, ritual and moving image, The Bride creates a cinematic theatrical world inspired by Chinese silk traditions. Running from 23 – 24 August, book here.
