We last featured Harry Price Project’s film q.f.d.f a few years ago, and the choreographer/director is back with a new work entitled LIMPET.
Produced by BalletBoyz, LIMPET explores the disorienting complexities of navigating dependent relationships. “The aim is not to push any particular narrative”, says Price, “but instead, let a series of actions describe a feeling.”
The outcome is a film that is non-linear and visually claustrophobic, a choice that was made to make viewers feel closer to and more affected by the film’s intention. “Sometimes tender, other times turbulent, this is a continual sense of negotiation throughout,” says Price.
The film premiered on Directors Notes on 26 March. You can watch here.
